Peter Navarro (Thailand) going to jail

In the news

WASHINGTON (AP) — An appeals court denied Trump White House official and RPCV Peter Navarro’s (Thailand 1965-68) bid to stave off his jail sentence on contempt of Congress charges Thursday.

Navarro has been ordered to report to a federal prison by March 19. He argued he should stay free as he appeals his conviction for refusing to cooperate with a congressional investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

  • Peter always said his case would eventully o to the Supreme Court. i never believed that but today I read a piece which said that the Supreme Court is waiting for a ruling from a lower court which will happen Monday, the very day he’s supposed to go to prison.
I don’t know how that could be when his appeal has already been denied, but the implication was that the Supreme Court was paying attention to Peter’s plight.

Of course it’s all theatre. Even if he does go to prison for four months. That would be good theatre too. So stay tuned all soap opera fans. Somethings going to happen now.

  • Before being shoved into a minimum security prison, stripped, told to bend over for a gloved hand to prob his anus, handed his genuine orange uniform and a shovel with which he will pick up lion shit, Peter Navarro claimed to be the “alter ego of the president” and immune to any kind of prosecution. Wow! He was infected with a bad case of importantitis in the White House. Better luck in the Big House, Pete.
