Africa Memoir tells the life story of Mark G. Wentling (Honduras 1967-69 & Togo 1970-73) from Kansas who grew up to travel, work, and visit all 54 African countries. Derived from over a half-century spent working and living on the African continent, Wentling devotes a chapter to each country describing his firsthand experiences, eye-opening impressions, and views on future prospects.

  • I’ve read and reviewed several of Mark’s books, including “Africa’s Embrace” and his insights and unique perspective on Africa is exceptional and this book is most timely as Africa deals with the challenges of development and Covid-19.
