RPCVs of Colorado are sponsoring a showing of “A Towering Task” on November 9th, 2019 at 3PM, at the Denver Film Festival https://denverfilmfestival.denverfilm.org
The organization has purchased 50 tickets which will be available from their website shortly. Here is the announcement from RPCVs of Colorado:
“RPCV of Colorado is honored to host Alana DeJoseph’s Colorado premier of A Towering Task as part of the 2019 Denver Film Festival
For the DFF Saturday November 9th 3:30 – 5:30 P.M. showing of the film, our organization has purchased 50 tickets (we’ve never purchased that many before for the DFF event). If you didn’t know, Alana is one of our own RPCVs living here in Denver, Colorado. The film’s world premier was last month at the Kennedy Center in D.C. In Alana’s words:
“By thoughtfully telling the story of the Peace Corps’ past and present, and then taking a look at its future, we want to equip the American public to redefine what it means for America to join the world community – not as a wager of war, but as a peacemaker and problem solver.”
This is a timely follow up to our Peace Corps Directors panel last month themed Peace Corps: Past, Present and Future.
Tickets will include admission to the film plus a drink ticket with a discount to members (hint, hint if you not a current member). Tickets will go on sale at the rpcvcolorado.orgvery soon and we will send an email once that webpage is up and running.
Look forward to seeing you there.
Charlie Masilae Hunt
President RPCVCO”
We will post additional information from RPCVCO, as soon as it becomes available.
Also, please let us know if you have information on other showing of “A Towering Task”.
