Of his Peace Corps assignment, Bryant writes:

I collaborated with the Moroccan Ministry of Youth and Sports and counterparts from the town of Ben Guerir to promote positive youth development and lifestyles. After researching and analyzing challenges facing the community in a Community Needs Assessment Report, I began work with approximately 100 youth to create programming at the local youth center and coordinated language immersion camps in my site as well as in other locations throughout the country.

Most notably, I worked with several community counterparts and organizations to organize two separate youth volunteer days, geared towards motivating youth to volunteer in their communities. I coordinated and implemented the project design and management workshop portion of both events.

Additionally, I provided resources for, as well as monitored and evaluated, Peace Corps Volunteers’ HIV/AIDS projects in the Safi, Marrakesh, and Essaouria areas as part of the HIV/AIDS Committee for Peace Corps/Morocco.

I also produced a webinar for two undergraduate classes at Rutgers University featuring Moroccans from my community discussing their views on the Arab Spring’s impact on Morocco.
