  • Thank you for compiling this list. It shows that the Peace Corps is a training ground for our diplomats. I am sure that it a list were drawn-up of USAID Directors it would be equally impressive.

    This is a listing that needs to be shown to the Congress every time our Peace Corps Director goes up to testify for its annual budget. It’s a Return on Investment. Add to it those RPCVs that went on to share their subsequent wealth and influence with others, like Reed Hastings, co-founder of Netflix; Dona Shalala, President of two major universities, and the Secretary of Health; Mike McCasky, President and owner of the Chicago Bears Football Team, etc.
