  • Three cheers for Namibia, for responding to the recent insult and stupidity with the sarcastic humor it deserves. I hope that other African nations will follow suit, and demonstrate the political maturity we RPCVs have hoped and expected. john Turnbull

  • I lived in Namibia and am not surprised by Trump’s minor mistake in its name. But then the anti-Trump crowd is so blind with rage about him they use anything to attack him. Sad.

    • Blind with rage? A curious affliction. Indeed, there are some days that blindness might be useful in “disappearing” the political vision Mr. Trump has created. But, then, I would still be able to hear. Perhaps deaf with rage would also be useful. I think that if the Nambia glitch were a one-off mistake, that would be one thing. But it’s just one more indication that Mr. Trump has little regard for anything that does not benefit him directly. Sad.
