Pre-conference social gathering
We hope that all Peace Corps writers attending the conference will join us at
FreeHouse, in Berkeley
Thursday evening, June 4th from 7:30pm – 9:30pm
for a casual gathering to meet, and talk books, writing — and Peace Corps, of course. Spouses and partners are welcome.
FreeHouse serves beer, cocktails and American food. It is at 2700 Bancroft Way, just 1 block from Unit 1 Quad, the location of the conference dormitory housing and where many of the program presentations will take place.
If you plan to attend, please email peacecorpsworldwide@gmail.com.
Book sales at the Exhibit Hall
Cheney Hall
Authors who have published their books with Peace Corps Writers will be selling and autographing their books during the conference.
Everyone is going to Berkeley! The synergy should be tremendous. I wish I could be there, but I shall face California and be there in spirit.
