John Coyne (Ethiopia 1962–64)
While working as Special Assistant to the Associate Director for Volunteer Support at Peace Corps in 1995 John  conceived of and edited three essay books about the Peace Corps experience: To Touch the World, At Home in the World, and Peace Corps: The Great Adventure. He edited Going Up Country: Travel Essays by Peace Corps Writers and Living on the Edge: Fiction by Peace Corps Writers, and is the author or editor of over 25 books of fiction and non-fiction on subjects as diverse as golf, the crafts, alternative education, horror and the Peace Corps experience. John has taught three online workshops for aspiring Peace Corps writers sponsored by Peace Corps Writers.  He has two other blogs on this site: John Coyne Babbles, and Peace Corps Writers.
