Josh Berman (Nicaragua 1998–2000) served as an environmental education volunteer in La Trinidad, Estelàand now is a
freelance writer, guidebook author, Spanish teacher, trip leader, occasional firefighter and Travel Channel correspondent. He travels often to Nicaragua, Belize, and other places from Boulder, Colorado. His books include Moon Belize, Moon Nicaragua and Living Abroad in Nicaragua (both co-authored with fellow blogger Randy Wood), and Americans Do Their Business Abroad: Stories by Peaple Who Should have known Better but Are Glad They Didn’t (contributor).
