		<description>I am sorry to see the Director leave, now.  I think that he leaves the agency in the more than capable hands of Carrie Hessler - Radelet.
However, continuity and succession planning is a major problem for the Peace Corps even when the Director and the thirty or so political appointees all leave when the political affiliation of the White House changes. 

With Williams leaving early, the danger is that the exodus will be accelerated and that can have a negative impact on serving Volunteers.</description>
