Great List!!

Is there one in alphabetical order by last name? When I go into my favorite bookstore it is in that order and it would make it easier to find these books.

If not, I can try to alphabetize them and then store them on my smartphone.

Congratulations, John, and to the rest of the group for pulling this together. I'm surprised to see that there are just 3 about PC Afghanistan where I served. Nothing like having one's adopted country over-run by the Soviets and seeing it subsequently serve as America's battle ground against the Communists to spur writing, or one would think. The attention you're drawing to the collection may inspire some to chronicle their experiences.

What a monumental task! Thank you so much for taking it on, Marian. May it grow and prosper and serve as a model for other "portals."

Lorenzo - this was a huge job to put together - so I made a mistake - sorry. It might have be a little kinder if you'd just sent me the correction.

Thanks you for the inclusion. Honduras was last part of a political unit with Guatemala prior to 1810 when they, Mexico, other Central American and Caribbean nations were called the Viceroyality of New Spain.

Marian - Great list! Thanks for all the effort you and John have put into this. Some minor corrections: The Henderson Memories (Brazil) is not a memoir, it's a novel. The title is misleading. Also, the Solomon Islands are not part of Micronesia, they are a separate country. I'm going to find this list very useful as I look for books to read. Thanks again.
