I think about the corporations I work within as I once thought about my community in Peace Corps; a group of individuals with tremendous capabilities jointly pursuing shared opportunities and challenges. And what I learned in Peace Corps about engagement, consensus-building, and problem solving; oh and perseverance and patience too - are all key ingredients to helping corporations realize their full potential as corporations with shareholders and community members with stakeholders.
