Saw Orth on Morning Joe. Very well done. Maybe she can spur the Corps to 10,000. Still 90,000 below JFK’s goal. And about one percent of Americans serving around the world in our military. Still a very limited influence in the image of America abroad.
Orth mentioned Peace Corps having served in Iran and Afghanistan. I wonder how our “image” gained through Peace Corps service in those countries stacks up to 11 years of US troops in Afghanistan and 32 years of Iranan hostility toward America?
